Description
Emmentál is a famous Swiss cheese, pale yellow with a firm, dry, golden yellow or brownish crust. Juicy grass grows in spring and summer in the Swiss Alpine meadows and it is spring-summer cow’s milk that is used to produce this cheese. When the cheese head is cut, Emmental is released such an aroma, as if a million wildflowers blossomed at once. And when Emmental warms up, you can catch the muffled taste of alpine meadows, the sweetness of ripe, fermented fruit and the taste of pinching the tongue of white wine.
